After almost four years of absence, computer return on heiter bis wolkig with an EP celebrating both Pop and Electronics at once. Time has left marks on them: the trademark indietronic sound from their first two albums is still obvious - but „you said“ got even krautier, more reduced and sturdier in the low end. Still, it leaves space for Pesca’s distinct vocals and even sports a distorted, indie-esque lead-part in the last half minute. Following the lead track, „embracing turtles“ and „the bastard“ take a rough path with even some grunge shimmering through. „inside your world“ however returns to cheerful yet strange pop and „in prison“ celebrates repetition with a typical guitar-loop and an impulsive kick-drum.
The EP is accompanied by three eccentric interpretations of the title track: The first one comes from Frischmann&Hofer who toy around with almost everything they can lay their hands on and deliver a strange but beautiful slow stomper and even add pitched-down some vocals to it. Juho Kahilainen self-confidently tranforms the whole thing into a technoid mess and obviously enjoys all kinds of noises his analogue machines generate. Finally Alban Endlos takes another approach and slows everything down to experimental valium house with an acoustic flavour.
